- Work closely with the QA team, adding tests to the automated test suit
- Estimate, execute and report on test status as work is being delivered by developers
- Document clear and reproducible defects using our defect tracking system
- Contribute to product quality by developing tools that identify issues as well as improve testability
- Interface with engineers in your scrum team to reproduce and resolve defects
- Build complex test environments with distributed systems using virtualization technology

We have 2 positions available, one of which will focus heavily on automation. The other will have some automation such as creating tools and scripts but mainly focus on designing new tests and ensuring we have proper test coverage for our market leading Archiving product. The Proofpoint Enterprise Archive is a cloud-based solution that features a distributed grid search and storage infrastructure that spans multiple peta-bytes of data. As part of a larger QA department, you will be focused on testing an enterprise scale SaaS suite of products with a global user base in the 10,000's. You will gain hands on experience testing the back end (Linux/MySQL/Apache), Middleware (C#, Windows) and Front-end (HTML/JavaScript) of our Archiving products. As well as designing and executing test scripts, you will also be responsible for designing and creating functional automation scripts using a combination of in-house and 3rd party toolsets
